Not surprisingly, science confirms what we know as Christians to be true:  gratitude is a virtue, a good habit, that if cultivated over time, makes us happier, healthier and, we might add, holier.  Gratitude is a fundamental attitude of the Christian steward.  In many ways, it is where we begin when we choose to begin living this Catholic Way of Life.

As the video says, gratitude is a habit we can choose to form.  To strive to grow in gratitude is a beautiful New Year’s Resolution!

For more on the benefits of gratitude, listen to this interview by Dr. Gregory Popcak: The Benefits of Gratefulness
